RAM Truth 1.4

RAM Truth - An application designed to provide detailed insights into your device's RAM (random access memory) layout:

• RAM Size (displayed on the title bar)
• Reserved: This area includes below-kernel fixed allocations like DMA buffers, RAM for baseband radios, CPU(s), and GPU. For small-RAM devices, we guarantee accuracy better than 99% here and in the total. The accuracy of all subsequent values, from User to Idle, is 100%.
• • User: The visible portion of physical RAM available for system use.
  • Active: The current amount of physical RAM in use by the system.
  • Available: The amount of physical RAM either left unused or utilized as cache memory.
  • Hibernating: RAM used as cache memory that is not consuming CPU or power resources. Some apps may hibernate and be written to storage instead of remaining in RAM.
  • Idle: Remaining physical RAM unused by the system.

Version 1.1 introduces a Settings/Preferences menu for selecting different output text sizes.
